Rocky Mountain National Park camping has got to be one of the greatest places to go. The areas are well maintained and marked and there is only a $20 entry fee.

The national park also has a

that will help you plan several months in advance. You may obtain day-of-trip permits year round in person.
Reservations can be made by phone from March 1 to May 15 and anytime after October 1. Reservations for a permit can be made for anytime during the calendar year.
